The final stretch...
Well folks, countdown time has officially begun. In a mere ten days, I will be moving into my new apartment. Frankly speaking, I can't wait. It's truly going to be the first time that I will be living in "my place." The closest I've ever come to that is sharing an apartment with two friends back in university. However, this time, my roommate and I will be sharing the place equally. None of this rooming at someone else's place anymore. In ten days, I will be living in a sweet apartment with my best friend. I couldn't be happier!

So how's the move going? While you're likely still packing, lifting, heaving, cleaning and decluttering, you'll eventually be nicely settled in your new digs. Enjoy your freedom. Other than the monthly rent cheque, apartment living is virtually worry free. Quite unlike all the additional responsibilites that come with a mortgage -lawn care, snow removal, taxes, what to do with the place when you want to go on a six-month hiatus, etc., etc. Settle in then keep us posted on how life in a high-rise suits you.
